The Farm

Growing good things to eat

I have a small organic farm that is located on my family’s farm land in Wheatland. My family has been farming this land since the late 1800s and I am the latest generation to farm. I am trying to reinvent the farm by growing vegetables and marketing them directly to consumers, I sell my produce through farmer’s markets, to small specialty food stores, natural food coops, and to wonderful restaurants in the Lake Tahoe and Sacramento regions.

All of the food I provide is grown following organic practices.

I offer you something better than certification:

If you would like to visit the farm, you are welcome. I will answer your questions and show you how your food is grown. Growing organically is what inspires me to do what I do, and the safety and quality of the food I grow is vital to who I am as a farmer.
